Technology advancements are around us in all areas. The main target of any technological advancement is to provide you with a better experience, easier, faster and more efficient at the sector you are using it at. For example at work, we can now use mobile applications for sign in/sign out instead of physical attendance machines with their purchase budget and maintenance fees. Asking for vacation request or doctor visit can also be done online with the manager’s approval/rejection cycle. Detailed salary view, monthly work plane, etc. and any other work function can be done online through digital solutions. This urges companies to go green, paperless societies and for better faster experience with their employees. On the long run, this will empower the employee to be instant communication status with his employer and team. It lifts the burden of applying many documents and physical meetings. At the same time, the employee need to make sure he can merge or split well between work-life balance. We don’t want this digital transformation of tools to make him panic more or feel stressed.

At home, digital smart appliances exist to relief the burden and follow up of the household. You can activate and turn on a machine at home while you are outside the place. You can automate your washing machine to start at X time while you are away or through its application, to turn it on. You can turn on your TV, change channels and Volume while being outside and can monitor what the screen shows for your children. Lights and audio at your place can work with your voice detection.

Shopping experiences have changed with using i-beacon. It will emit radiation with information to your mobile phone, so once you enter the shop and you get connected to it – it can display a message with text and image showing discount on certain items, or free coffee with purchasing X item.

To make good use of technology and its updated tools and applications, we must allow it to serve us well, not the opposite and choose wisely what really fits our needs. It must not be the latest updated solution, but what fulfil the need we have whether at home, at work or elsewhere. It is actually built the other way around that technology solutions and digital transformation applications are created to enable us lead a better life.

The advance of technology is based on making it fit in so that you don’t really even notice it, so it’s part of everyday life.”
