However, companies should prepare themselves as well by first focusing on the creative development of their employees using new methods. encouraging self-development is a key issue. Companies should encourage employees to turn into habit the exploitation of new technologies, method of management, tools to be used. This will allow them to be exposed to new technologies and trends. With the constant evolution of new technologies, companies must reinvent themselves in order to face the competition.  This is a win-win approach as companies remain competitive in the era of robotization by investing in their human capital.

How to turn it into a habit? Create an ideation process. Every employee has to come out with an innovative idea that changes a product in the company, enhance an internal process, or add a new technological solution to one of the challenges the company is facing. In this way, they will have an even greater ability to adapt to change and deal with the unknown.  HR experts also advice to amalgamate different profiles of personalities within the same department to maximize the exchange of ideas, or plan outings outside the usual work.

Injecting that in the mindset of the employees needs some persistence with some of them and needs the stakeholders of the organization to believe and adopt that approach; otherwise, no one will follow.

Innovate as an organization through employees’ self-development – Push the button of their creativity.
